Our mission is to help University of Hawai’i bound students from our area make a smooth transition to UH as well as Washington bound students and families from Hawai’i feel at home here in the NW. Washington is the second largest feeder state into the University of Hawai’i system so there are hundreds of students to be helped!

We combine our efforts to support the University of Hawai'i bound students in our area with gifts and financial support. To raise money we are offering wonderful gifts for our raffles and auctions this coming summer and fall. As you may guess, we would love your help in this regard.

Our plans include 2 raffles, one in the summer and one in the fall, which will encompass not only our members, family and friends, but also a mailing to the entire alumni body in the Pacific Northwest & Hawai’i by the University of Hawai’i itself.  Also, we will be marketing via the well-attended by thousands, Live Aloha Polynesian Community event here at the Seattle Center and our Chapter’s annual picnic and student send off.  There will be a final event on October 9th during which the winners of the biggest drawing will be announced via radio. This is a very big project for us and one which we hope you find appealing for your charitable commitments!
